Mother Charged With Child Endangerment

A Pomona woman was charged with child endangerment for allegedly locking her 2-year-old daughter in a running Laundromat washing machine, the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office said Tuesday.
Erma Osborne, 35, is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned today.
Osborne was arrested Saturday after the girl nearly drowned in the machine. The child is in stable condition at Children’s Hospital of Orange County.
