Workers Forced Into Pricey Housing Market

Health officials ordered the evacuation of a $21-million employee-housing complex in Breckenridge after finding mold in all 80 units, forcing many low-income workers into the pricey local housing market as ski season begins today.
Residents of the Breckenridge Terrace apartments were ordered to leave by the end of the month.
The 3-year-old complex houses about 300 people, though not all the units were occupied.
