Judge Stops Extradition of Russian Tycoon

Russian tycoon Boris A. Berezovsky, wanted at home for fraud, cannot be extradited now that he has been granted asylum in Britain, a judge ruled.
Judge Timothy Workman said it was pointless to proceed with the extradition request case because of Home Secretary David Blunkett’s asylum decision last week. Berezovsky says the charges are political.
