Jilli Schnitman and Helen Kolpakov, Calabasas: Swept at No. 1 doubles to lead No. 1 Coyotes, the defending Southern Section Division I champions, to an 11-7 nonleague victory over L.A. Marlborough.
Correy Miller and Katie Ochwat, Laguna Beach: Swept at No. 2 doubles to lead No. 5 Breakers to 10-8 nonleague upset of No. 3 Palm Desert, the defending Division II champion. The Aztecs’ No. 1 singles player, Hillary Collins, did not play because of an injury.
BOYS’ WATER POLO
J.W. Krumpholz and Frank Reynolds, Santa Ana Foothill: Each scored three goals for No. 2 Knights in 8-7 nonleague victory over Corona del Mar, which was led by Thomas Pearson’s three goals.
