From Times Wire Reports
Ontario became the first province in Canada to ban the pit bull, in the wake of vicious attacks.
The law prohibits breeding pit bulls or bringing them into the province. Those already in Ontario must be sterilized and must be leashed and muzzled in public. Any pit bull born after a 60-day grace period will have to be shipped out of the province, sent to a research facility or destroyed. Opponents said they would challenge the law in court.
