* Brittany Miller, Chino Hills Ayala: Had 23 kills and 10 blocks to help the Bulldogs stay in second place in the Sierra League with a four-game league victory over third-place Glendora.

* Stephanie Felix, La Mirada: Set a course record of 17:24 on the three-mile course at Arcadia County Park, leading the Matadores to victory in the Arcadia Invitational.
GIRLS’ TENNIS
* Tina Tran, Garden Grove: Finished the season with a 34-1 record by sweeping at No. 1 singles, 6-4, 6-0, 6-0, in a title-clinching 13-5 Garden Grove League win over Garden Grove Pacifica.
