‘Seeger Sessions’ tour confirmed

A U.S. tour supporting Bruce Springsteen’s soon-to-be-released folk record, “We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions,” has been confirmed. The tour, which features the 17-member Seeger Sessions Band playing gospel, folk and blues, kicks off April 30 at the Jazz & Heritage Festival in New Orleans. It then travels to Europe for 10 dates before returning to the U.S.
The tour stops at L.A.’s Greek Theatre June 5. When and where tickets will go on sale has not been determined.
