Boy Hospitalized, Father Arrested in Cart Crash

A 10-year-old boy was hospitalized and his father arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and other charges after a golf cart accident, police said.
Two other children riding in the cart, ages 5 and 7, received minor injuries in the Sunday afternoon accident.
The father, Loren Dooley, 50, of Petaluma, was arrested after the golf cart overturned on a residential road in an unincorporated area of Solano County near Fairfield, police said.
Dooley was cited and released after posting bail Monday.
