Searchers found former navy diver Robert Hewitt alive after he’d been missing at sea for 72 hours.
Hewitt, 38, was found floating at sea wearing only the bottom of his dive suit. He had survived on crawfish and kina, a type of sea urchin, a search-and-rescue official said.
He had disappeared Sunday near Mana Island north of the capital, Wellington. Officials said he was “conscious, dehydrated and needing medical attention.”
