Judge Is Apparent Winner in Mayoral Race

Superior Court Judge Pat Morris appears to be the winner of Tuesday’s runoff race for mayor with 63.4% of the vote.
City Atty. James F. Penman, Morris’ challenger to lead the city of almost 200,000 people, trailed with 36.6% of the ballots.
The winner will take office in March.
