Teacher ticketed for honking won’t face trial

A preschool teacher given a $300 ticket for honking in support of her students during a May immigration protest won’t face trial after all.
Police said they dropped the ticket after lawyer Ben Rice, who represented the teacher, apologized to the court for her actions.
