IHOP plans to license some of its products

IHOP Corp., the operator of more than 1,300 restaurants in the U.S. and Canada, plans to license some of its products to supermarkets and other retailers.
The Glendale-based company is in final negotiations with a vendor to license its products in the U.S. this year to test their appeal, Chief Executive Julia Stewart said. She did not specify what items may be licensed.
