A different kind of house

RE “Cape Cod on Mulholland” [Jan. 18], the cover story on Laurence Mark’s traditional home:

Thank you for finally showing a house that isn’t decorated in a minimalist or midcentury style. I’ve been feeling like every house is the same house because they are all decorated the same.

Please add more houses to the Sunday magazine too -- all style of houses.

PERHAPS a good way to determine which is a more appropriate description of Laurence Mark’s house on Mulholland, “Colonial” or “Coastal New England,” would be to run a photograph of the front courtyard, which Janet Eastman wrote about, but which was inexplicably not depicted.
