A 20-year-old man was killed and at least one other man was wounded in an apparently gang-related shooting at a party early Sunday in an unincorporated area of Los Angeles County, authorities said.
Officials said the shooting occurred about 1:30 a.m. outside a home on 90th Street just east of Normandie Avenue.
According to detectives with the county Sheriff’s Department, a man fired several rounds into a crowd of people at the party, striking one man in the back. The gunman then walked up to another man and shot him several times in the chest before fleeing.
The second victim was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The man shot in the back was hospitalized in critical condition.
