Eddie Firestone Jr., a character actor who was featured on radio’s “Halls of Ivy” and “Suspense” as well as scores of film and television programs, died March 1 of respiratory and heart failure at his home in Sherman Oaks. He was 86. He will be buried today at Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park in North Hollywood.
