UCLA associate athletic director Glenn Toth wants to promote UCLA’s “1st to 100” national championships with T-shirts. How about a women’s softball jersey with the number 100 on the back given to every taxpayer in California? Send me an XL. Fight on.

I am a guy and I can see that Adidas got it all wrong. The 2006 men’s volleyball team did not win UCLA’s 100th NCAA team championship. The 2007 women’s water polo team did and their award should have been front and center in the congratulatory ad May 17.

Oh, that’s right. They don’t wear shoes.
