Bleacher seats for Oscars via lottery

It isn’t an Academy Award, but for movie fans, it could be the next best thing: a bleacher seat along the red carpet on Oscar night, Sunday, Feb. 24.

For one week beginning Sept. 17, movie buffs and stargazers can enter an online lottery conducted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for a chance to win one of 300 available seats along the 500-foot-long red carpet in front of Hollywood’s Kodak Theatre.
