One of the hottest tickets in town figures to be tonight’s 7 o’clock high school boys’ basketball game between Westchester (18-2), ranked No. 3 in the Southland by The Times, and host Los Angeles Fairfax (14-2), ranked No. 7. These programs have combined to win every City Section Championship Division title this decade except one.
There are 1,000 tickets that will go on sale at 4 p.m. on a first-come, first-serve basis at Fairfax. The game will be televised on tape delay at 10 p.m. on LA36.
Renardo Sidney, a 6-foot-10 junior , is averaging 24.4 points for Fairfax. Westchester is led by Southern Methodist-bound guard Jarred Dubois.
