Motorcyclist is killed in collision

A woman died Wednesday morning, hours after her motorcycle collided with a sport utility vehicle in Compton, authorities said.
The woman, 41, was driving south on Central Avenue about 11 p.m. Tuesday when she struck a green sport utility vehicle that was turning left onto El Segundo Boulevard.
No one in the sport utility vehicle was injured.
