Say ‘no’ to state irresponsibility

Re “Bonds and tax hikes may fill ballot,” July 12
Elected officials continue to run from their responsibilities and ask the electorate to take over the job of making decisions. So far, this has not worked well; for example, term limits have not resulted in better government.
We recalled Gray Davis for fiscal irresponsibility, but the current state management is doing an even worse job. Now The Times tells us that the November ballot may be filled with more tax and bond proposals.
Looks like the people are being set up to be snookered again. Let’s make this a Nancy Reagan election and “just say no.”
