Frontier ends standby policy

Frontier Airlines said it would start charging travelers to switch flights on the day of their travel, and will charge $150 to make changes on days prior to the flight.
The Denver-based airline will eliminate its standby policy and will instead charge same-day flight-switching travelers the difference between their original ticket and the new ticket at its price that day.
