Re “Kern County to halt wedding services,” June 7
It has long puzzled me how letting gays have marriage licenses from the state could threaten the institution for straights. After all, letting us have driving licenses doesn’t threaten the institution of driving for straights.
But now I read that Focus on the Family-types are halting all marriages in Kern County rather than let gays get married, and finally I understand.
