Marine charged in drug case

Marine Lance Cpl. Christian William Carney was charged by military officials Thursday with multiple counts of distributing cocaine and Ecstasy. Carney already faces a murder charge in Orange County Superior Court for the off-base shooting death of a Marine on May 15.
The body of Pfc. Stephen Serrano was found in a drainage ditch in San Clemente. Also charged with murder is Pfc. Alvin Reed Lovely.
