EA extends bid for Take-Two

Video game maker Electronic Arts Inc. extended its $2-billion hostile bid for Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. after Take-Two urged its investors to reject the offer.
Electronic Arts pushed back the bid’s expiration date by a week to April 18 after New York-based Take-Two moved its annual shareholder meeting to April 17. The offer also requires Take-Two to eliminate the poison pill it adopted this week, Redwood City, Calif.-based Electronic Arts said.
