Warner Chilcott settled lawsuits it brought to stop Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc. of Corona from making generic versions of its Loestrin birth control pill and Femcon Fe chewable birth control pill.
Under the settlement, the companies said, Watson will license the Loestrin patents and be permitted to enter the market either in January 2014 or when another generic copy is produced, if earlier.
