Kings play host to Red Wings

Update: Defenseman Drew Doughty isn’t expected to play because of a deep thigh bruise he sustained Monday on a hit from Evgeny Artyukhin in the Kings’ 3-1 loss to Tampa Bay. He missed the third period and didn’t practice Tuesday or Wednesday. Forward Oscar Moller (fractured clavicle) was placed on the injured reserve list retroactive to Jan. 7. The Kings recalled Kevin Westgarth from Manchester of the American Hockey League. The 6-foot-5, 241-pound forward had one goal, five points and 104 penalty minutes in 37 games this season.
