Toy maker Mattel Inc. said it had bought Sekkoia, which makes the board game Blokus.
In a separate transaction, El Segundo-based Mattel also acquired the rights to the Whac-a-Mole game from Bob’s Space Racers Inc. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.
Mattel’s purchase of Sekkoia includes Blokus Trigon, Blokus 3D, Blokus Duo and Blokus Giant.
