The “More for Your Money” columns are simply the best. They’re always so practical. I loved the “off-airport” hint [“How to Drive a Bargain,” Jan. 18] about renting a car away from the airport to save money. We will definitely try that one.
In New Zealand, we found a better car rental rate by asking a local auto dealer for the long-term lease rate. The recession gave us a better rate and a better car.
