Rockaway Records: An article in the Sept. 24 Business section about Rockaway Records in Silver Lake said there are 600 free-standing music retailers in business nationwide. There are approximately 2,000 independent music retailers, according to the Studio City-based Almighty Institute of Music Retail, about 600 of which have opened since the institute began tracking them in 2003.
