Re “DWP recruits JPL to investigate major water main breaks in L.A.,” Oct. 10
While JPL is investigating the role of tectonic activity in L.A.’s recent rash of water main breaks, wouldn’t it also make sense to modify our watering schedule policy? Even-numbered addresses could water on Mondays and Thursdays, while odd numbers could do so on Tuesdays and Fridays. This would immediately cut the pressure on the system.
