Ducks tonight
AT SAN JOSE
When: 7:30.
Where: HP Pavilion.
On the air: TV: Prime Ticket; Radio: 830.
Records: Ducks 7-7-1, Sharks 6-5-1.
Record vs. Sharks: 0-1-0.
Update: The Ducks will try for their fourth victory in a row, hoping to capitalize on their last-second win Sunday night that got them to .500. The ageless Teemu Selanne (seven points in his last four games) is tied with captain Ryan Getzlaf for the team lead with 17 points. The Sharks will be without their captain, Joe Thornton, as the high-scoring center finishes up a two-game suspension for what was ruled an illegal hit against St. Louis Blues forward David Perron last week. Goaltender Antero Niittymaki has been strong in net for the Sharks (5-1, 1.78 goals-against average), eclipsing former Chicago Blackhawks goalie Antti Niemi (1-4, 3.90 GAA).
