Old Coca-Cola plant is set for a refreshening

A century-old Coca-Cola bottling plant at 4th and Merrick streets in Los Angeles was most recently used as a toy business warehouse. After its makeover, the basement and first floor will be retail space and the two upper floors will be office space.  (Christina House / For The Times)

In 1915, The Times reported that Coca-Cola Co. was constructing a “commodious” new home for its operations in Los Angeles. Coca-Cola sold the building in the 1990s  (Christina House / For The Times)
