Hollywood headlines: A week in review
While rumors of a Joe Jonas sex tape circulated online Thursday, the singer’s rep came out with a firm denial that any such tape exists.
The notion of the 23-year-old starring in such a tape would be particularly notable given his and his brothers’ chaste reputations. And Jonas’ personal denial resulted in a post we never expected to see on his Twitter feed.
“ball gag? really? me? come on guys,” Jonas wrote.

Perez Hilton debuts his baby son, Pink comforts a crying girl at a concert and two “Mad Men” actors get engaged in this week”s Hollywood headlines.
Sherman Oaks high schooler Jake Davidson got an awesome wake-up call Wednesday morning as he found himself on the phone with Sports Illustrated cover girl Kate Upton, whom he’d recently very publicly invited to his prom — via YouTube.
Chalk one up for “It never hurts to ask.”
Upton had answered Tuesday afternoon via Twitter with a firm “maybe,” saying, “You can call me Katie if you want! How could I turn down that video! I’ll check my schedule.” Then the “Today” show snagged Davidson from bed in the wee hours Wednesday for a 7:45 a.m. chat about his video.

Pink stopped her concert mid-song Sunday in her hometown, Philadelphia, to check in on a little girl who was crying in the audience.
Rock star as mama bear — who knew?
It was midway through an acoustic version of just that tune, “Who Knew,” when Pink’s attention went to the girl in the crowd.

The “Mad Men” Season 6 premiere happened Wednesday night at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles, and we’re going to try to take the high road and write about it without discussing the Jon Hamm rumor that’s been circulating this week.
Because it would be completely inappropriate to discuss a New York Daily News report citing an AMC insider who claims that Hamm had been asked to wear underwear while filming the sixth season of the drama, so as to minimize the appearance of his extraordinary man parts under tight trousers.

The pop star is “doing wonderful, doing great” and “ready to get back to work,” her manager Vincent Herbert told the New York Daily News.
Gaga, 26, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, had to have the surgery as a result of a concert injury that rendered her immobile. She hid the injury from her staff for some time but finally announced that she was hurt when she could no longer walk.

Harry Reems, who starred with Linda Lovelace in the 1972 pornographic film “Deep Throat” and became a cause celebre in Hollywood after he was convicted on federal obscenity charges related to the movie, has died. He was 65.
Reems, who had pancreatic cancer and other ailments, died Tuesday at a Salt Lake City veterans hospital. His death was confirmed by the Veterans Affairs Salt Lake City Healthcare System.
He arrived on the Miami set of “Deep Throat” as the lighting director, but when the man hired to portray the doctor in the film failed to show up, director Gerard Damiano said: “Put on this coat; you’re acting,” Reems told The Times in 2005.

Seth MacFarlane and Emilia Clarke have reportedly ended their relationship.
Distance is to blame for the split between the Oscar host, 39, and the “Game of Thrones” actress, 25.
“They are no longer dating. It was really a location challenge,” a source tells Perez Hilton and E! News. “She has been in Europe shooting ‘Game of Thrones,’ and he is based in California, so it was hard to make it work despite the distance. They have remained friends.”
