Nick Jonas puts it simply: He and Kendall Jenner are ‘not dating’

Nick Jonas and Kendall Jenner are no more — and that’s because they never were to begin with.

The “Chains” singer shut down the rumors that he was dating the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star during an interview with E! News’ Marc Malkin.

“We’re not dating,” the 22-year-old said.

You got that? Not. Dating.

He thinks Jenner is great, though, and since she’s good friends with model Gigi Hadid, who’s dating his brother Joe Jonas, it’s pretty natural for them to hang out.

And those hangouts are what got them into the “supposedly dating” mess to begin with.

The youngest of the Jonas brothers was linked to the 19-year-old model earlier this month, not long after he split with girlfriend of two years Olivia Culpo in June. Reports at the time said that Hadid played matchmaker — because double dates.

And even if the “Scream Queens” star was dating Jenner, he told E! that he wants to keep his relationships “light and casual” so he can focus on work.

Those dating rumors really got him in chains.
