Performance jam and improvisation remix session, including a screening of Koplowitz’s most recent dance films plus performances with TaskForce by collaborating artists. Suggested donation: $10 (proceeds to benefit Friends of the Los Angeles River).

Port of Los Angeles -- Banning’s Landing Community Cultural Center
100 E. Water St., Wilmington
A collaboration with the middle-school art students from the Banning Center community, who will create a visual installation for a performance on the dock and on the Banning Center grounds.

A series of performances with guest artists the Los Angeles Urban Rangers.

Performances under the bridge, at the Studio for Social Sculpture and at the neighboring Cornfield.

Los Angeles River
An all-day performance tour at locations along the 51-mile river, featuring poet Suzanne Lummis and writer and river guide Jenny Price. Guided bus tour provided by Friends of the L.A. River. Cost: $50 (includes lunch); FOLAR members, $45. Information: (323) 223-0585.
