Fox renews dramas ‘Lucifer’ and ‘Rosewood’ for second seasons

Fox has renewed two first-year dramas, “Lucifer” and “Rosewood,” for second seasons, the network announced Thursday.
“Lucifer” stars Tom Ellis as Lucifer Morningstar, who gets bored with his life in hell and relocates to Los Angeles, where he teams up with LAPD homicide detective (Lauren German). Jerry Bruckheimer is executive producer of the series, based on characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth and Mike Dringenberg for DC Comics.

Created by Todd Harthan, “Rosewood” is a medical procedural starring Morris Chestnut as charismatic Miami pathologist Beaumont Rosewood. Jaina Lee Ortiz costars as Annalise Villa, a detective with the Miami police.
Fox has yet to announce the fates of several other first-year shows, including “Grandfathered,” “The Grinder” and “Minority Report.”
