Meek Mill reignites his Drake feud with a new surprise EP

Meek Mill is back for another sip at the bitter cup of his Drake feud.
The Philly-based MC unexpectedly released a new EP, “4/4” on Saturday. It’s a quick four-song salvo that reignites his longstanding scuffle with the Toronto rap titan.
Mill was widely regarded as having lost that last fight, which had tapered off when Drake dropped the biting single “Back to Back” and turned Mill-bashing into an IMAX-sized production at his OVO Fest.
But this small Mill effort is packed with Drake jabs--allusions to “Started From The Bottom” and “Jumpman” brim with witty contempt.
It also comes at a deliciously passive-aggressive time for Mill. The rap-world Internet is aflame with speculation that Drake’s long-awaited new album “Views From the 6” may surface in a matter of hours. So this is Mill’s equivalent of showing up to a wedding early and taking a bite out of the cake before the ceremony.
Stream “4/4” here and get your yuks in before the Drake Album Watch swamps everything around it.
