Map: High-risk schools in Southern California
Outbreaks of childhood diseases are more likely at about 200 Southern California schools in large part because of parents choosing not to immunize. A Times analysis identified schools as at risk if at least 7.5% of entering kindergartners this school year were exempted from immunization. Most are schools in affluent areas.
