A portion of northbound Interstate 215 in Grand Terrace will be closed Tuesday evening for the demolition of a nearby building damaged by a fire.
The roughly one-mile stretch between Barton Road and Iowa Avenue will be closed between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. About 8 p.m., there will also be a traffic hold on southbound traffic, according to the California Department of Transportation.
A fire Monday destroyed a two-story building, with damage estimated at more than $1 million, according to the San Bernardino County Fire Department.
The building in the 22000 block of Commerce Way is close to the northbound 215 Freeway.
