Man sentenced to 16 years in prison for shooting death of tattoo artist Trigz

A Los Angeles man has been sentenced to 16 years in state prison for the shooting death of well-known tattoo artist and body piercer Michael Christopher “Trigz” Pebley, the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office announced Tuesday.
Robert Andrew Falcon, 32, of Sylmar pleaded no contest in November to one count of voluntary manslaughter and admitted to using a firearm when he killed Pebley last year during a fight in a North Hollywood tattoo parlor in the 6300 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard, Deputy Dist. Atty. Jason Quirino said in a statement. Falcon was sentenced Monday.
Prosecutors said Pebley, 40, and Falcon argued in a business next to the tattoo parlor, on Oct. 9, 2014. The fight turned physical and spilled out onto the sidewalk, where Falcon shot Pebley, authorities said.
Falcon fled on foot, and Pebley was pronounced dead at the scene.

Pebley, a father of five, was born and raised in Los Angeles, according to his Model Mayhem profile, where he described himself as a model, photographer and artist who owned his own clothing line.
He had worked with rap artists including Mobb Deep, Lil Jon and Wiz Khalifa.
