3 killed, 2 severely injured in Lancaster crash

Three people were killed and two severely injured Friday evening in an accident that involved two cars in Lancaster.
The accident happened about 6 p.m. at 25th Street West and Avenue K, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
A Jeep containing five people went airborne and rolled during the accident, officials said. Three of the passengers were ejected.
It is unclear what caused the accident.
A pickup was also hit, but the driver suffered only minor injuries, officials said.
