Former ‘Days of Our Lives’ actor charged with selling cocaine

An actor who appeared on the “Days of Our Lives” soap opera was charged Thursday with selling cocaine out of his Agoura Hills home.
Dylan Michael Patton, 20, was arrested Tuesday by Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies, who served a search warrant at his family’s home in the 28000 block of Bardell Drive.
Deputies allegedly seized cocaine from the residence.
Patton faces one count of possession for sale of a controlled substance. He is scheduled to be arrainged Thursday afternoon in Van Nuys and expected to plead not guilty.
The criminal complaint alleges that Patton sold cocaine within 1,000 feet of Sumac Elementary School.
Prosecutors are asking a judge to set bail $30,000. If convicted, Patton could face up to nine years in state prison.
Patton appeared in several episodes of “Days of Our Lives” in 2010 and has had a few other Hollywood acting roles, according to the Internet Movie Database.
