Gunman opens fire in Studio City

A gunman opened fire Friday afternoon in Studio City, prompting a massive police response. People sheltered in place in businesses as the investigation continued. Laurel Canyon and Ventura boulevards are closed.

A gunman was shot by police after opening fire in Studio City on Friday afternoon, prompting hundreds to shelter in place as officers investigated.
