Woman with gun is arrested outside White House

A Michigan woman who was carrying a gun while participating in a demonstration outside the White House was arrested Thursday night, according to the Secret Service.
April Lenhart, 23, of Mount Morris, was arrested around 8:30 p.m. local time when Secret Service agents noticed she had a holstered pistol on her hip while she walked along the fence line of the property, according to Robert Hoback, a Secret Service spokesman.
Lenhart has been charged with possession of an unregistered firearm, possession of unregistered ammunition and carrying a pistol without a license, according to the Secret Service.
Lenhart made no statements to authorities, Hoback said.
