Carlos Santana and his legendary band continue to take fans on a musical journey at Vegas’ first and only rock ’n’ roll residency show at The Joint at Hard Hotel & Casino.
The 90-minute set by Santana and his band is called “Supernatural Santana: A Trip Through the Hits.” Fans can expect an ever-changing set list showcasing the band’s career-spanning classics, such as “Oye Como Va,” “Smooth,” “Black Magic Woman,” “Evil Ways” and “Maria Maria.”
The show’s name is borrowed from 1999’s “Supernatural,” which spent 12 weeks at No. 1 and outsold the quadruple-platinum “Abraxas,” firmly cementing Santana’s relevancy for audiences born long after Woodstock.
The “Supernatural Santana” set was designed exclusively for The Joint, which was named “Best New Major Concert Venue” by Pollstar magazine. With an unparalleled commitment to rock ’n’ roll, the venue features state-of-the-art sound in an intimate setting; the furthest seat in the house is about 155 feet from the stage.
In 1998, Santana was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which called the Mexico-born musician one of “rock’s true virtuosos and guiding lights.”
