Baseball: Former Capistrano Valley pitcher Matt Hiserman is new pitching coach at San Francisco

Matt Hiserman, a former Capistrano Valley pitcher, has been hired as the pitching coach at the University of San Francisco.
Hiserman worked as an assistant at Cal State Northridge the last two seasons under former San Francisco pitching coach Greg Moore. Hiserman pitched for San Francisco during his college days.
“USF is adding more than a coach, although Matt is one of the finest coaches I’ve been around. Coach Hiserman’s ability to develop pitchers comes from his being a caring mentor, a relentless worker and a true teacher,” Moore said.
The 27-year-old Hiserman received his bachelor’s degree in finance from San Francisco in 2010.
