Baseball: Saugus picks up Mater Dei transfer Tony Jacob

Tony Jacob, a freshman left-hander pitcher who recently committed to Vanderbilt, has switched schools from Santa Ana Mater Dei to Saugus.
It gives the Centurions two top left-handed freshmen on varsity. The other is Brandyn Cruz.
Saugus’ pitching staff should be very strong for the next couple of years in the Foothill League.
