Compton High will dedicate its basketball court in honor of former head Coach Bill Armstrong, who guided the school to four CIF titles in the 1960s and 25 league titles.
The ceremony is set for Saturday at 2 p.m. in the gym.
Armstrong died in 2003 at the age of 85.
Several of his former players are expected to attend, along with his son and grandson.
