Boys’ basketball: Ryan Murphy is set to provide instant points for Calabasas

There’s a new prolific scorer in town, and his name is Ryan Murphy, a senior guard at Calabasas who has returned to Southern California after attending school in Connecticut and Massachusetts.

If the early reports are true, Calabasas is going to have a player to watch starting next week.

“He’s a really good player,” Coach Jon Palarz said.

We’ll see how long it takes for him to adjust to the quickness of Southern California players.
