Trevor Stanback, a 6-foot-10 center at Pasadena Maranatha, has committed to Stanford.
Stanback started his prep career at Chaminade, winning a state championship as a sophomore.
He transferred to Maranatha last season, missed most of the basketball season because of a health issue, then returned for the playoffs. Maranatha won the Division 4A title.
“The campus is amazing,” Stanback said. “The coaching staff is genuine.”
